IT IS A WELOME EXPOSE OF A SHAMEFUL PART OF RECENT AMERICAN HISTORY. THERE IS A LOT THAT STILL NEEDS TO BE EXPLAINED, MORE STORY TO BE REVEALED. WE AMERICANS SHOULD NOT HIDE FROM WHAT WE DO.

I believe it was a very well-made movie that needed to be brought to light so more people can see the horrors of what our gov't does. I think the acting was very believable and felt genuine. Amazing, simply amazing. The details of what was said, how everything happened...everything down to the most minute details. I can imagine that everything was not able to be included but this is a damned good job. Hats off to everyone involved in making this film and letting us know a small piece of truth.

This film was very informative about life at Guantanamo Bay. All of the actors were convincing and the storytelling felt real like we were reliving the situation. Though not the type of movie I would normally watch, I am glad I did and will recommend others to see it as it is eye-opening.

gripping story from the start, heartbreaking and yet the main character gives you hope. Jodie Foster and Shailene Woodley are perfection as his attorneys and Benedict Cumberbatch is amazing as his character sees the truth through his own loss. At times hard to watch, this movie portrayed what this man went through at the hands of government employees bent on getting revenge at any cost. It is hard to believe what he endured for over fourteen years.
