It was mostly a movie of bad character decisions. Horror movies typically have characters making really dumb decisions for the sake of driving the plot forward but this one really took that trope and ran with it all the way. Every character deserved what they got for most of the film solely for the decisions they made that led them to that point in time.

For me the scare wasn't really there. I didn't jump once because they were predictable. From the reactions of the audience there will be plenty that will love this movie so I would recommend it.

It could have been so much. I want to stand behind it so bad it's just the end that really killed me.

The movie was visually well done and I liked the more light-hearted portions. Other than that I wasn't really any good. It lacked a lot of story substance and the scares with so formulaic and predictable the movie didn't seem frightening at all. The plot and characters followed in line with a million other horror movies with noticeably a lot of fakeouts which really took away from any scariness.
