A modern rendition of the 1950s musical - the movie revolves around the rise and fall of Jack and Ally's career in the midst of a steady relationship, albeit with a tragic ending. The overall direction, lead pair chemistry, and sound tracks were brilliant. It was a pleasant surprise to see Lady Gaga pull off her role with panache.

I was very surprised by the quality of this movie. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga make a really stunning duo. Sound mixing was excellent and the plot was very convincing. The songs were superb!
