I thought the movie was very good. it tied up some questions from the original. I liked the aspect of McCall helping the kid and the old man. Nice driving scene with the guy in the car trying to stab and shoot McCall.The only negative was the scenes at the beach house where the 4 guys were trying to kill McCall. Due to the storm it was hard to see some of the activity clearly.

Very much enjoyed the movie. Could do without some of the gore, but Denzel was great .

An exciting romp through the American northeast and the bad guys' chests alike. Details were surprisingly accurate and helped provide an immersive experience unlike most films of the genre. While violent, the gore was not excessive and the casting helped keep the suspense while avoiding distasteful excesses.
