Good experience of life without hearing, with a sudden change in life, and adjustment to life without things we take for granted. Acting was great, pace was great.

It was sad that he lost his hearing and his former life. He spent all that money on the surgery and it did not bring back things the way they were before.

A bittersweet ending....the protagonist MAYBE comes to grips with his deafness? I just wasn't sure what the ending was.

Great performance by the lead actor. Thought provoking and unusual film. The portions with the school for deaf children were especially gripping. Hghly unusual, powerful, and moving. Glad I watched it.
