It was both funny and moving. The movie turned the stereotypes about Mexicans and Americans on their ear. The comedy was at times slapstick. But at other times the characters were made very real and as an audience, we were able to empathize with them

Funny, emotional and heartfelt. A very entertaining and definitely a must-watch film for the holiday-family season!

Half Brothers was a film that was a combination of Will Ferrell’s “Stepbrothers” and Todd Phillips’ “Hangover”. The plot line was typical, yet effective.\r\rWhat I was not prepared for, which the director, writer, & actors did well in conveying, was the invoking of emotion. The film creators did well in making the connection between Emilio & Asher with the issues they both shared; as well as between fathers Flavio and Renato. Making those connections & addressing their issues in the film warranted 4 stars.\r\rOverall good film & good luck on opening weekend. TU
