I rewatched the original again before seeing the film. The film stands by itself. The kids were great actors . I Iove horror and this will not disappoint. Loads of suspense and holding your breath yet cute humorous interactions among the kids. Can't wait to see the sequel so set aside the budget to pay the Adult actors.

It was perfection. I live for horror movies :)

It was a amazing interpretation of the book. It stood on its own as a individual horror movie and not a remake. I would definitely see it again.
