The movie feels so real, I was sucked into it. \rI love the gritty feel, the knowledge transferred without being obvious, the skills of the actors I bought into every moment like it is real. \rAnd how it ended up telling an American history. \rJust told no sides make your own judgment.

Countering the historical narrative is a great direction for filmmaking.\r\rJudas commands a commitment to historical excellence in addition to artistic achievement. When post-pandemic production accelerates, this production team has earned investment.\r\rThe actors have also excelled in ther demanding roles.

Fury, sadness, and resolve. Not only furious at the white supremacist power structure that targeted Fred Hampton and the Black Panthers with violence and false equivalency rhetoric that continues to this day against Black efforts of self-sufficiency, but sadness at the manipulation of William O'Neal. It was striking and will sit with me for a very long time.
