it was just ok

There were some details which were confusing to me, but my seatmates explained it. Entertaining.

Adrift is a good title that describes both her aimless life and the damaged boat. Her survival is a good female empowerment story. However the film was tedious and hard to watch. Did we need those gory scenes on the boat with the imaginary boyfriend who was actually dead? It would have been more powerful with her alone as she actually was for most of the voyage.
