We hadn't seen the first film, but I heard some solid laughs from my preteen kid, plus some spontaneous applause at the conclusion by a group of college kids near us, so broad appeal. I love Sam Rockwell, so it was fun to hear him throughout. My kid said it was very entertaining & often left him on the edge of the seat.

I thought that this movie was extremely comical. My grandkids loved it.

Good movie enjoyable for parents and children.
