A lengthy film at 3 hours, it helps tremendously to know some history about the the Manhattan project and the man behind it, This is an intense character study of Oppenheimer as well as those around him. Director Christopher Nolan's creativity is on full display as he takes us down the path of just how complex such a brilliant man is. A bit slow in spots but Murphy is excellent as "Oppy".

The movie is really good but really long. The first act was really slow. but the second and third act was really good. I believe they should have cut down on the first act although it made sense at the end.

At three hours it was too long and in some places it seemed hard to follow but overall beautifully shot, wonderfully acted and visually it was stunning. Not normally a film I would have gone to see but I'm glad I did.

It was an extremely interesting look at a turbulent time in our history and shed light on a subject that is still very controversial.\rThe story was told in a way that was understandable without being too technical and captured the nuances of the personalities involved The cast is fantastic ButBeing a native New Yorker I found it disconcerting that Collins Murphy accent was off.
