It is not my favorite genre of horror....but I thought it was made with definitive choices to entertain and bring in a wider audience with suspenseful scenes and we'll places jump scares. The heroic ending was a nice twist. AND succeeded in leaving us with horror as the ending ties the horror in the beginning of the movie. OMGoodness (shivering)

A fantastic new entry in the already amazing franchise.

I liked the idea of an urban setting for the movie. The connection of the beginning of the movie actually being the end was a cool twist. \rIt leads me to believe this is some sort of prequel since we are now heading to a cabin in the woods at the end of the film. It was giving Stephen King's "The Shining" vibes in multiple scenes.

It was interesting. There was gory parts that you would have to have a stomach for.
