There were some entertaining parts, but overall I just came away confused.

It was just ok. Not bad, not great, just in the middle.

Very dry comedy of a movie that’s filming a movie that lacked a plot, action, drama, suspense and made a mockery of the Baptist church. Great acting by Regina Hall and Sterling Brown that saved this movie from being a total flop.

Being raised in the South and in church, sometimes the movie was a bit sacrilegious. Almost blasphemous. I don't like that. I thought it would be a lot funnier. I will say, the stars acting was very good. If I had paid for this movie, I would be very disappointed.
