The movie not only recaptured that magic but allowed us to see Elphaba and Glinda’s relationship properly blossom before our eyes. Cynthia and Ariana brought their own brilliance to the roles while staying true to the characters. Their chemistry truly defies gravity (pun intended), and the movie format, with its intimate close-ups, made it easier to connect emotionally with their journey.

We loved it. We haven’t seen the play so it didn’t bother us that the movie was longer. Were actually excited to have to come back for part 2
