A real survivor in spite of so much adversity…I like the movie

It is a very open look at the life and career of Mary J Blige and how she expressed both with her music.

Brilliantly done! Raw Mary like we have never seen before.Mary gave us the 411 on her life, in her words.

Knowing what she went through growing up, I almost feel guilty for loving her music, knowing that we wrote it when things we’re very dark for her. It was beautifully told and I enjoyed the old performance clips and the fam POV.
