I loved it, the acting was exceptional and the cinematography was beautiful! The use of light and dark and the choreography really drew in to the story. It was beautiful to watch.

West Side Story gave an excellent performance musically and artistically. I could feel the poignancy of the relationship between Tony and Maria. The chemistry between Rachel Zegler and Ansel Elgort was undeniable. Ariana DeBose stole the spotlight, in my opinion. Her range of emotions was captivating, and I was able to enter into her struggle and heartbreak. Overall, this movie was a work of art.

West Side Story's story is compelling. The new version is faithful to the old in both music and dance. The actors were believable, the costuming and settings are great. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The decision not to use subtitles for Spanish was the right one and the story was easily understood without knowing Spanish. Didn't bother me at all. It lent authenticity. Loved seeing Rita Moreno.
