This was brilliant! Totally showed another side of Mary that most don’t get to see or hear about ever. It was inspiring and eye opening.

It was a beautiful film about two women struggling to maintain their authority and autonomy during a time when women weren't afforded either. I thought the costumes and makeup were incredible, and the production design was beautiful. The story is ultimately a sad one because these two women really didn't have any animosity towards one another, but it was the men advising them that drove them to hostility in the name of the throne.

The performances were incredible. I know the history well, but this version of the story kept it fresh and offered a new spin. Really enjoyed it!
