Very nice story, great scenery. Well done.

This was a fantastic movie. All of the actors were excellent and the photography was excellent. Since I did not read the book, I was very interested as the events transpired. I have recommended Far From The Madding Crowd to my friends.

I loved it. I LOVED him - Farmer Oak. And I thought it adhered fairly well to the Thomas Hardy novel, which I have read several times. The lighting in this movie is gorgeous, the casting perfect, the sets gorgeous. The next day, I'm still in its spell.
