I can appreciate movies that mimic what is happening in the world today. I always hope the right people see it and take something positive from it. I was very impressed with the cast especially the lead, Amandla Stenberg. Regina Hall and Russell Hornsby portrayed parents that all children need and hope for. I love how they showed Maverick was flawed, but was able to turn his life around. Awesome!

I honestly at first, did not think I would like this movie. But this movie was Deep and Intense. There was even a point where I ended up getting goosebumps. This movie is very much worth the watch. Thank You.

I thought the movie was very good. I liked the fact that there was almost no profanity, and there were no "risque" scenes.

Excellent movie depiction of real time issues, capturing multiple perspectives with funny and touching moments. I would definitely recommend seeing with teens.
