The most beautifully captured film I've ever witnessed. The story was told with such tenderness for such a difficult history.

The videography was very creative. It was a hard movie to watch. I had no idea what it was about so was thrown off guard. I’m hoping people will go to see it and be changed. The treatment these people endured, the trauma that they had to manage and live with was hard to watch especially because it’s based on truth. Several of us talked for over an hour afterwards as we all had questions and parts erte confusing. I would certainly see again for more clarification.

From the start of the movie- the leaf twirling, the Christmas floss- the pov was set. i really like when a movie trusts it's audience to follow a story without it being spoonfed with convention. I also love when a director cares about the audience by working hard to give us a powerful story through the acting, through the exquisite, emotion provoking way it was filmed. I really felt as if I were Elwood. I almost wish the cameraman/woman could be up for best actor, because it was insane just how much emotion/relationships were from a camera angle. This movie is was underhyped.
