Beautifully filmed and acted this sad, poignant film would be best viewed by those who had some background of this time in history.

Natalie Portman is a wonderful actress

The actors did a fine job portraying their characters. Was surprised Portman wrote screen play and directed it. Would like to see more of her work in the future. The stories ending left viewer with a sad feeling. Would of liked to see a fuller and happier ending.
