Good movie, however, very stereotypical with common themes that have been explored and dealt with before. The acting was good, but it just did not 'wow' me in anyway on both an emotional or inspirational level.

The two young male leads did a credible job in this film but I felt the excursions into fantasy did not work. Many of them were completely unnecessary and far too 'on the nose'. We were hit over the head with messages that we could easily comprehend from the characters and their stories. We know Oscar witnessed a terrible violent event. We don't need to see a steel rod emerging from his stomach!
