Great comedy and drama!

It was a wonderful, feel good movie. I enjoyed watching it with my mom and my preteen daughter.

I did not know anything about this other than that it was a book by Judy Blume. I am a 39 year old man and Im here to tell you I was shocked by how great this movie was. There was not a second of wasted time, it was delightful from start to finish. The teenage girl actresses were all amazing, and Rachel McAdams as well. Dont tell anyone please but probably 6 times in the movie I was tearing up.

Beautifully told storyline, about a year in a coming of age young preteen and her feelings in dealing with a relocation. And, while making new friends and discovering parts of herself. Especially, how she feels when introduced into different religion beliefs for an assigned paper by her teacher.
