I thought the movie was thoughtful, well written, and well executed. They definitely got the blue print with this one. And the actors were phenomenal.

This was a great movie. Loved the way they used art to tell this story.

I want Teyana Taylor and Josiah Cross to continue this story on Netflix or Amazon.\r\rThe film contrasted NYC's alleged progression over the years, as evidenced by new retail stores and gentrification in neighborhoods, against the "stuckness" of minority and working-class residents.\r\rAdditionally, the kidnapping provided a very well done plot twist. I connected with Teyana's character as a passionate hero and advocate. The revelation about the kidnapping and its effects produced very rich dialogue. The emotional scene with Teyana and Josiah stole the show! I look forward to the next screenings.

A great indie drama that hits hard towards the end of the movie.
