It was excellent. I was so drawn in by the performances of all the actors... Initially, I was afraid I would find it too dark but I'm so glad that I saw it. After coming home, I listening to a few interviews with the actors, film makers because I wanted to know more and to hear more about the back story. So much to think about. I am definitely going to recommend it to lots of folks and can't wait to discuss it with friends and family after they see it.

This was a terrific, beautifully filmed piece that tells a story so horrific I was prompted to look it up: It is based on an incident that happened only in 2009. \rIt reminds me of "Twelve Angry Men": behind the scene of a life-changing incident is discussion in a small space, only this is women who deliberate, disagree, open up, close up,love each other, hate their oppressors, try to hang onto their beliefs - this is dialogue that you don't hear often. \rThe actors are all superb - Claire Foy in particular. I only wish that the amazing Frances McDormand was more involved.\rSee it!\r

The story was terrific. The evolving feelings of the women throughout the discussion were well represented through small changes in the dialogue and terrific acting. The characters were strong and courageous. The story debates issues of power, and although the movie is set in an undetermined period of time, the issues can apply to almost any era, including the present. I liked the movie very much and will highly recommend it to my friends and family.
