It was great. The ending was unfortunate but it helped really seal the deal.

Was great! Loved that it incorporated the original room 217 and stuck to the book. Only thing missing was Danny being the half brother.

So good! The sound design for the movie provided a wonderful overall tone to the film that was spooky and compared to the book it followed it really well! Wanted more from the final showdown. That part was kinda disappointing.

Mike Flanagan takes the world of "The Shining" and makes it his own. The film is truly excellent with great performances by its leads. It's a chilling, evocative psychological thriller.
