FRIDA is a soulful self examination of her life in the artist’s own words. It was inspiring!

90% of the dialogue shared on screen are her own words from personal diaries and letters. Archival footage and her famous paintings digitized and animated serve as a backdrop to an extraordinary life that needs to be revisited. I especially love how she predicts her own legacy at the end.

A very important film, beautifully done.
