Slow, confusing

I liked this movie with regards to the acting, drama, and story. However, the beginning and ending are very confusing. I had no idea what was going on in the beginning. Also the end went too fast without much development from the end of the court scene fo the end. It felt rushed. The middle was good and I followed the story development. Olmos and Strathern were excellent with good.chemistry.

Great cast, interesting themes, but jerky plotting and a lot left out.

Excellent performances, bad script.
