Very insightful, as there have been many opinions circulating over the years, regarding Tyler Perry. I'm so glad to have such a thought provoking story presented. It makes the viewer think deeply about many of the movie's points, including all types of abuse, black people and the black culture in Hollywood and the healing effects of family.

This was a great biopic about the great Tyler Perry. It was a fun and funny experience that was also filled with deeper moments from his past that were intimately obscured from the public eye. I will definitely watch the film again on Amazon Prime.

I am in awe! This film is freakin amazing! I didn't think I could respect and love Mr. Tyler Perry any more than I already did until I saw this film! His story of triumph, determination and survival against all odds is heart-wrenching and inspiring. I laughed and cried all throughout. Check it out asap! You'll be glad you did.

The good, the bad, the ugly. It’s all there. The documentary gives insight to Perry’s upbringing, helping audiences to understand why an artist, who shares so many stories, has the ability to do so. His success did not come without struggle. The documentary features his highs and his lows giving the viewer a balanced perspective.
