Hard pressed to get anyone to accompany me to this "free" advanced screening. What a fantastic depiction of the incredible life of John Callahan. A long time fan of Joaquin Phoenix, I knew it had to be great.Moviegoers were brought to tears, superb acting, compellingly directed. Heavier marketing plan could support a wider audience. Very moved by this film. Two thumbs up!

Fast moving with touching plot. Sad but comedic at times.

I thought the acting was excellent. Jonah Hill’s performance was amazing. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a supporting actor nod.
