Good story line but a number of production errors.

I thought The Stranger started out quite strong and then fizzled out after three "episodes". It has some interesting things to say about our current culture but gets lost within itself after some outrageous story turns. It's a shame because there is a great cast wasted here.

The Stranger was James Bond meets Cloverfield. The sociopathic bad guy has a hard time staying hurt or dying and is willing to use anyone to attain his ends. As it turns out, so does the heroine. Though she is not as cold and devious as the title character throughout the story, she finally succumbs to his extraordinarily intelligent influence. A little more backstory on both good characters.

As a plus I'd say that it doesn't take long to start the suspense in the film...within the first 5 minutes. Liked the main character. Didn't really understand the other characters and motives really. It vaguely suggested different things. I've been more pickly lately abut things that don't make sense and this didn't really clear it up.
