The storyline/script was not very well done and some of the titans/monsters weren't well used (mothra is somewhat forgotten after her intro only to appear later- rodan only comes to fight mothra etc).None of the human characters were memorable. Basically, it's your typical popcorn monster movie appealing to the lowest common denominator

Monster scenes were great, people scenes not so much. It was one major, not so subtle, build up for the next movie which will pit Godzilla against a major nemesis.

Unnecessary cussing for a film aimed at young viewers. I didn't feel a connection with the family. Not enough of the film focused on Godzilla. Too long at 2 hrs. and 12 min. Meh.

I had low expectations, and they were not exceeded. I thought in 2019 the special effects would be better. The monsters did not look realistic. Many of the fight scenes between the monsters were too dark to really see what was going on. Some of the relationships were too sappy. The best were Ken Watanabe and Millie Bobby Brown.
