Predictable plot twist - knew who the dad was from the first minute of the movie. Didn't think the uncle was in fact the uncle until it was revealed. Figurwd he was a husband who was infertile or something. The home movies seemed a lil risqué for a brother and sister. Unpredictable ending though. I like how it didn't wrap up too neatly with the girl actually meeting him in Mars, just her training to be an astronaut.The constant changing of cars was annoying. I can't even remember how the cowboy car. And the plane scene was a bit ridiculous and unbelievable Esp since she said she has never flown it before.How did such a drunk man become a guarding to Tulsa in the first place?Why were Tulsa'a male classmates chasing her after seeing her play the piano??? I can see maybe her chasing them if they had been filming. Would have like more back story in that.The acting was good esp. by Carla and Asa

Great movie! Some slow parts

While there are some problems in my opinion with the ending, overall a very enjoyable film. While I was expecting more of a teen romance film, that was mostly kept to a minimum. While I may have some complaints on the science, it's obvious the filmmakers tried to get as much right as possible. Great performances from Asa Butterfield, Britt Robertson, and Gary Oldman as well.

I really enjoyed it. The casting was perfect. Both young leads were refreshing.
