Second half tedious, first half had good character development. IMAX screening too loud and excessive sub sonic. Probably screens much better in the older IMAX theaters.

The movie followed the actual events. Only wish we could have seen the aftermath, hearings, and damage that the spill had created. Good cast, lots of action.

Deepwater Horizon is an intensely harrowing account of the disaster from those who experienced it.It also portrays the extent of corporate greed, which led to the worst oil disaster in US history, as the film's closing states. Excellent directing from Peter Berg, and phenomenal performances from the ensemble cast. The cinematography was incredible as well.

Good disaster movie.Surprisingly well done intensity levels.The human relationship element was well-defined between Mike and Felicia Williams, but lacked depth for the other characters. The concluding sense of harrowing relief lost some of its power due to that lack of definition of at least some of the other characters.Having said that, I would recommend it to others definitely a solid valu
