I'm not sure what I think about this film. The script is better translated as a tv series than a film.

Julia Hart is great at creating strong and fascinating characters. I loved how Mary was so full of self doubt, that she was afraid of the quiet loneliness. Those serene moments (The diner, alone w Henry) are the highlight for this film for me.\r\rWhere it stumbles, however, is in its attempt to build suspense. I'm not sure if it was the writing or the overblown score, but those scenes just never captivated me like the ones that focus on the characterization of Mary. Overall, it was a solid watch, but not one I'll revisit.

Nothing groundbreaking here, but good enough to recommend. I thought Arinze Kene was particularly good.

Acting of course, was great. Directing was also spot on. It was rather slow but intentional. I was entertained and wanted to see then ending. Neat and tidy story with some surprises.
