Great remake/update of the French film but given entirely new twists. Fabulous acting/singing and being from that part of Boston myself, wonderful to see the area through great cinematography. Always difficult to predict but I would be surprised if this doesn't receive a boat-load (LOL) of Academy Award nominations. Thank you for making it available.

Wow! I loved this movie! I loved how the family dynamics played out between her parents who were deaf and her older brother who was also deaf.\r\rI wouldn't think that being a hearer in a family of deaf people could be a 'negative' thing, but it was interesting to see the different roles that Ruby had to act in because of her position. It was interesting to see how much her family relied on her.
