For a sequel, it was OK, loved the first one. The plot was off and the story did not flow.

The film does an admirable attempt and trying to provide a backstory for Denzel's character. It also tries to humanize the man who is once (and still is) a fearsome CIA hitman. However, there were times that the money dragged as viewers waited impatiently to see when Denzel's character will eliminate those who have wronged him. Equalizer 2 is definitely worth seeing. But Im not sure if its better than its predecessor.

Suspenseful. Kept your attention. A lot of violence, as long as people know that going in.
