It was slightly entertaining but Better suited for family night movie than on wide movie screen theaters.

Characters were one dimensional. I loved the mom and grandmother characters but all others were boring, including main character Margaret.

This movie is based on a book published in 1970 for 1970 young readers ages 9-12. Shame on me for no due diligence. Some of the pre-puberty scenarios are sweet and endearing. Some not so much. As not sure who the target audience is for this movie as I would not bring a young male nor an old man.
