Very thought provoking. In my opinion, Academy nominations are awaiting this film. 2 items (of many) the film does show is how powerful the Battleships actual were and how strong the American Spirit is.

It was a very good movie! I had never heard of this story and was so impressed by how it was told on the screen.

Gritty as war is, this movie made me laugh, cry, cringe, and hope. All the emotions that it brings makes this a must see! The story line was great and well written. The acting superb, mel gibson delivers with this one as the direction was so good! Don't miss this one! I see oscars in the future for this film...
