Excellent movie!!! Visually amazing! Lin-Manuel Miranda is a musical genius! Anthony Ramos is outstanding! I love the Broadway version and while nothing beats live theater, the movie certainly did it justice. My heart is so happy right now! I can't wait to see it on the big screen n June.

I am a big fan of musicals and this did not disappoint! I think this is the best musical movie since Chicago and I am so impressed with the way it was able to feel grounded yet also incorporate such elaborate dance sequences and musical numbers. So often movie musicals feel like they are ashamed to be musicals, so it is so refreshing to get one that really leans into the fact that it’s a musical

This movie blew me away!\rThe music and choreography were amazing!

It was a very engaging experience and it followed the source material for the most part. All of the actors were amazing singers, although the girl who played Vanessa was weak at some points. Overall, the created environment was beautiful, colorful, and truthfully representive of a close-knit community. Great film for anyone interested in musicals or Latino/a culture.
