The movie was a very long movie with alot of backstory to play apart. The film seems to carry on too long but sets up for the 3rd movie well.

It was so great! I enjoyed learning more about characters I already know and love and diving deeper into these newer characters. Great, action packed film!

This movie is a big tease & therefore less satisfying than most of the Harry Potter films that have more closure, nevertheless I always enjoy revisiting this fantasy world. Eddie Redmayne is charming, the new creatures are fun & I enjoyed seeing young Dumbledore & McGonagall. Some of the new characters & subplots are a little confusing & can only retain so much detail!

The movie was well done and represented the magic of the wizarding world well. There was a bit of a jumpy feeling that made certain parts hard the follow. Like in the tracking sequence the gold fog and floating feather were unexplained where all that was needed was a single sentence explanation to the no-mag he was traveling with. Just needed some buttoning up of the plotline.
