Wow. The performance by Riz Ahmed was just outstanding. Having seen him in other roles, I am only reminded how impressive his acting is. Not only did he play this role well, he was extraordinarily convincing.\r\rThe film makes you feel what it is too have something so precious as hearing for so long only to have it taken away. The struggles, challenges and difficulties one goes through is truly heartbreaking.\r\rHighly recommend watching this film.

Good movie. A little slow at times. Recommend to others. Especially those that play in a band.

Riz Ahmed shines in this role, giving deep insight into the struggles of sudden hearing loss, addiction and eventually discovering his own path. Brilliant cinematography and sound effects allow us the sensory experience of what the character is hearing or not hearing. Riz has given an Oscar-worthy performance.

Good movie about hearing loss. It felt like we were experiencing it along with him. Tough going through all the emotions.
