I think it stayed pretty close to the source material. It is great nostalgia for older people like me, who were obsessed with Judy Blume

I believe that this film targets a specific demographic being younger teens going through adolescence specifically girl. This movie had highs and lows and the comedy was good. Overall I would give this film a 6.5-7.5 out of ten.

I liked it. I read the book when I was younger and was a little worried that the movie wouldn't do it justice, but it didn't disappoint. I thought the casting was good and the book was well represented.

The movie was ok. I did not read the book but have heard of it. There were some funny parts in the movie. The relationship Margaret has with her parents and parental grandmother is endearing. She comes to realize what true friendship is and is not. As for her relationship with God and her question, she is still searching in the end.
