It's an entertaining love story in spite of few plot items I did not find believable. I liked the acting and seeing the early 60's portrayed.

Sylvie's Love was an enjoyable nostalgic trip back to New York in the 1960s. The cinematography, clothes, and music were on point. The chemistry between Sylvie and Robert and their acting was superb. \rAlthough this was based in the 1960s, it could actually be right now. \rSome of the same issues in the film still exist today for women and for people of color. I loved the soundtrack.\r I really loved seeing a love story with black people and people of color as the leads. In mainstream media and movies, you rarely see a love story with black people or people of color.

It had that old Hollywood vintage feel in this modern age, I loved watching this romance play out on screen.
