It was good. Not really my kind of movie, but opened my eyed to the problems in Mexico that are seen in the news.

I wasn't to impressed with the main character. she was naive.

Great cinematography by Deakins and great acting by the cast, but the story is too much suspense and not enough content. I felt the war on drugs was left aside only to show latinos fighting each other. The side story of the boy and his police dad didnt mean much at all. It felt like a poor attempt to make audiences sympathize with Juarez residents. Sicario? More like "US-Colombia vs Mexico"
