film buffed and was a bit boring

I watched this movie with a friend who has historically read YA novels and then seen the movie with me. It's our thing. We had not read this book, but the trailer gave us a pretty good idea of what the movie was about. This was full of teenage angst and a bit predictable, but we knew that going in and enjoyed ourselves anyway!
