A must see event for everyone. In The Heights was not your typical Broadway show, and this is not your typical movie musical. It made my heart happy.

Awesome adaptation of the play. I've seen the play twice and it was so cool to see it re-imagined for the movies. Missed Nina's Mom and her song.

My favorite musical movie of all time. the latinx representation is divine and the direction of Jon M Chu for a musical is one of the best that I ever watched.

I watched it with my grandma is Puerto Rican and who was raised in the Bronx. She talked, sang, cried and laughed through the entire movie. It reminded her of home and the way she grew up with the community. It was like watching us on screen and I'm so incredibly proud to be a Latino and to be pursing my education, not in spite of the struggles but precisely because of them! Thank you!
