Very good avant garde movie lots of action

Fully braced for disappointment when I sat down. The iconic original, one of the greatest films of the 90s, would be a hard act to follow. How could it possibly match its combination of storyline, effects and acting talent, with its unforgettable soundtrack?!Well the whole cast was there, Ewan McGregor apparently having found the elixir of youth, but forgetting to share, T2 managed well to connect the cast to the events of 20 years before, yet set out its own mostly unpredictable storyline.

It was everything I could have asked for in a Trainspotting sequel.

I thought that this was comparatively better than the first movie. The conclusion of the story of the boys was great and the modernization added an interesting feeling to the movie. I found that there was less gratuitous sensational scenes than in the first and those that were in it had more punch. Ewan McGreggor continues to be one of my favorite actors and in both movies his "Choose Life" speeches really make part of the movie for me. I'll definitely be recommending this movie to people I know
