Slow pacing movie. Ben Affleck isn't good in the movie with no emotion. Good reproduction of the age with cars, buildings and costumes. Not enough action.

"Live by Night" was really good during the second half. The first half was slow, convoluted. It didn't help that the sound wasn't working properly at the theatre where I saw the screening. The second half was really good. I just wish the first half had been tighter.

Tepid period gangster movie. Visually beautiful, but without any soul, and in real need of a proper editor. Very watchable, though. Let's put it this way: as of right now, this is Affleck's fourth best picture. And yeah, he only directed four movies...

Can be skipped.
