How do you portray the enigma that is Bob Dylan, the performer, in a movie? Why, as an enigma, of course. Telling Dylan's story through his music was an excellent choice, well executed. However, Suze Rotolo deserved better treatment than the fictional Sylvie Russo. Also, did small continuity lapses mean we did not see the final theatrical release version of this movie? I would strongly recommend this movie to friends, especially those old enough to remember the folk music era of the 1960s.
